The increased cost of living around the globe has seen many people in society unable to afford a daily meal. Over the years, the Good Samaritan has played a pivotal role in the church by meeting needy cases, care homes, and society at large. The ministry is highly supported by the Local Church Council which has allocated resources to enable the ministry minister to individuals with the provision of basic commodities. Members of Goodwill also offer support to the Samaritan basket by giving their donation of foodstuffs, clothes and other personal effects.
